NATURAL LINALOOL

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION :

Category:Natural

Natural Linalool is an acyclic monoterpene alcohol isolated via steam distillation or molecular distillation. Characterized by its **floral, sweet aroma with woody-citrus undertones**, this colorless to pale yellow liquid is a cornerstone of fine perfumery. As the primary component in ho oil (85–95%) and lavender oil (25–38%), it offers dual functionality as a fragrance enhancer and bioactive agent with clinically validated anxiolytic and antimicrobial properties.

CORE APPLICATIONS  :

Fragrance & Flavor

- Perfumery: Base note in 80%+ luxury perfumes (e.g., Dior J'adore, Chanel No. 5); enhances floral freshness with low odor threshold (0.8 ppb).

- Flavoring: GRAS-approved for citrus/berry flavors in beverages (use level: 1–100 ppm).

Pharmaceuticals & Cosmetics

- Anxiolytic Agent: Modulates GABAA receptors (oral ED₅₀: 12.5 mg/kg).

- Antimicrobial: Effective against *P. acnes* (MIC: 0.06% v/v) in acne formulations.

- Penetration Enhancer: Boosts transdermal absorption by 40% in patch delivery systems.

Industrial Chemistry
